Lenten Prayer Retreat - March 27 (9:45am-3pm)
The season of Lent encourages us to reflect, repent and renew. In some traditions a prayer retreat provides a helpful resource for the spiritual journey during this season. On March 27 Sue Braun and Bruce Lawson will be leading our second Lenten prayer retreat based on the Ignatian exercises. During this retreat we will follow the Ignatian model of encountering the scripture through prayer. The day will include times of teaching, praying and silence as we seek God's word for us. Coffee and a simple lunch will be included. Please sign up by emailing Sue Braun.
Lenten/Easter Services
Join us in observing the Lent and Easter season with other Northside Covenant Churches in 2010. See ResCov's calendar of events for dates, times, and locations.
Rebuilding Together
Rebuilding Together * Metro Chicago is an organization that provides free home repair to elderly, disabled and low-income individuals on Chicago's south and west sides, as well as some in the southern suburbs. For the past three years, Resurrection Covenant has worked on the homes of families living in the Englewood and Austin neighborhoods of Chicago. On April 24, 2010, ResCov will again partner and work closely with a family in Chicago to plan and prepare for a day of hard work. Contact Colin Frykman for more information.

Check out our Discipleship page for weekly opportunities for discipleship happening at ResCov.
Warming Center - Fridays (4-8pm)
For the past few months, we have been able to meet and serve 12-14 guests each Friday evening at our Warming Center. Opportunities to volunteer include preparing meals, preparing sack lunches to distribute to drop-in guests, laundering towels, cleaning, staffing the center on Friday evenings, or donating supplies listed online. If you are interested in serving in this growing ministry, please contact Hauna Ondrey.
