One of our commitments at ResCov is to being a missional people by engaging in both global and local mission. As we strive to be Christ's hands and feet in our world today, we expect to be called into work that may be uncomfortable, but that expresses God's enduring love for all of creation. Our passion and understanding of mission is deepened through our continued discipleship and community; we firmly believe that we are not starting something new, but are seeking to join God's living and active movement in our neighborhood, our city and our world.

Compassion ministries are one essential aspect of how we live out our call to do justice, love kindness and walk humbly with our God. Opportunities to engage in missional activities surround us all on a daily basis. ResCov has formed partnerships with several local organizations, as well as joined international movements, to combat issues of hunger, poverty, and injustice. While the church will continue to provide specific options, such as our own Warming Center and Just Food programs, the community has challenged itself to consider how we each can live out the call to mission in our everyday lives.
